Yesuf Mohammednur Awel

Yesuf is an economist-consultant at ECA since June 2016. He holds PhD in Economics from Maastricht University (since December 2016) with an emphasis on development economics and applied econometrics. Prior, he earned MPhil in Environmental and Development Economics from University of Oslo and BA in Economics from Mekelle University. He was a research fellow at ECA, PhD fellow at UNU-MERIT and teaching and research staff at Mekelle University. His research interest encompasses areas of public policy evaluations, development and agricultural economics, and applied econometrics.
