Aisha Nansamba

Mrs. Aisha Nansamba Nsubuga is currently working with BRAC International as the Regional Program Quality Advisor for  Africa. Previously, Aisha served as the Interime Country Representative of BRAC Liberia and a Research Coordinator, providing leadership to the country teams, maintained and formulated relations, as well as engaged in resource mobilization.  She led a project to investigate the impact of a customer-centered business training approach for MSME owners’.  Aisha holds a Master’s in Population and Reproductive Health from Makerere University, Uganda. Her key research interests include behavioral dynamics, labour economics, and public health, with a focus to enhance human and economic growth.  Previously, she worked as a Research Associate at BRAC Uganda for six years. There, she engaged in conducting social evaluations and providing forward-looking analysis as inputs to innovations. Aisha also worked as an STT at The WORLD BANK Group. She has received several professional trainings in impact evaluations from; University of Laval, IZA/DFID, J-PAL, CSAE and UC (Berkeley).
