I am a Development Economist with over 10 years professional working experience in Evaluation and public policy analysis. I posses M.A Economic Policy Management and B.A in Development Economics of Makerere University and currently working as an Economist in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM). At OPM I am assess of the performance of Government institutions every six months and evaluate government projects, policies and programmes. I am a member of a Task force instituted by a Cabinet Subcommittee to review performance of externally funded projects. I am is a Co-Principle Investigator on an impact evaluation (RCT) study of Increasing SME productivity in Uganda: Leveraging clusters to train and create linkages. The study is funded by The East Africa Social Science Translation and (EASST) grant administered by Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at University of California, Berkeley. I represented OPM in impact evaluation (RCT) practitioner-researcher collaborations between Government and US based university researchers; the current being spearheaded by CEGA and Oxford Policy Management where two RCTs have been identified in Justice Law and Order sector of Uganda. I am a member of the African Growth and Development Policy Consortium's African Impact Evaluation Network. I am a team member of an impact evaluation of credit counselling on entrepreneurship behavior of the Ugandan youth, a study funded by Partnership for Economic Policy as well as a facilitator (Trainer) in Monitoring and Evaluation/Policy analysis at Civil Service College Uganda
