Beatriz Muriel H. holds Ph.D. and Master degrees in Economics from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She has worked in both Bolivia and Brazil governments and academia, which allowed her to apply her thorough theoretical and empirical background to economic development problems. She has more than ten years of experience on research, and she has publish more than 40 documents (books, articles, working papers, policy briefs).
