Yumei Zhang

Yumei Zhang is an associate research fellow, Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). She is a modeler familiar with computable general equilibrium (CGE) models and economy-wide multimarket models, applies these models to evaluate agricultural policy and analyze agricultural commodity market situation. She received her Ph.D in Agricultural Economics and Management from CAAS in 2009. She led the National Science Foundation of China for young scholar, and participated in several projects, eg. National Science Foundation, National Key Technology Support Program, projects supported by Ministry of Agriculture and international cooperation projects. She published more than 40 articles in various journals, such as China Economic Review, China Agricultural Economic Review, BMC Health Services Research and China Rural Economy
