Juliet Nassozi Ssekandi

Juliet is an Economist with vast experience in statistical data production, social policy research,Causal/Risk analysis and M&E. For over 15 years, she has supported strategic planning processes in both Public sector and multilateral organisations and has interacted with a wide network of stakeholders including Government, Development Partners, UN agencies, CSOs and the private sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. She currently works at UNICEF-Uganda as a Programme Specialist. Before joining UNICEF she served as Senior Evaluation Research Fellow at the Office of the Prime Minister of Uganda where she was part of the core team that supported establishment of the Government Evaluation Facility in Uganda. Formerly, she was Head of Analysis at the National Statistical Office of Uganda where she was responsible for the analysis of Living Standards Monitoring Surveys for poverty monitoring and other strategic planning processes . She has also served as a Vulnerability Analyst (VAM officer) at the World Food Programme (WFP) Regional Bureau for East and Central Africa where she was directly responsible for Surveys and M&E of both Humanitarian and livelihood- support programmes.
