Sudarno Sumarto is a Policy Adviser of the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K), Office of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and senior research fellow at the SMERU Research Institute. He has a PhD and an MA from Vanderbilt University and a BSc from Satya Wacana Christian University (Salatiga), all in economics. He was formerly a visiting fellow at Shorenstein APARC Stanford University for 2009
