Mr Hodonou is a professional applied economist with a strong analytical capacity in statistics built over the last 25 years either as civil servant, consultant or researcher. His research interest lies in impact evaluation of public policy and project/program, poverty analysis, micro-econometrics, M&E and applied statistics. He has led a research project on poverty dynamic analysis using a Markov chain modeling approach with the Poverty and Economic Policy (PEP) research network of Laval University, Canada.
