Ricardo Arguello is a Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia. He holds a BSc in economics from Universidad Externado de Colombia, a MSc in agricultural economics from Cornell University and a PhD in regional science from Cornell University. His main work areas are international trade, with emphasis in the quantitative analysis of the effects of trade policy, and agricultural economics, with emphasis on the quantitative analysis of agricultural policy. He teaches international trade theory, trade policy, and quantitative trade analysis. He also is a consultant for several Colombian and international organizations.
