Cecilia graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Masters of Arts in Economics in December 2020 (funded by African Economic Research Consortium), before which she had graduated from the same University with a First class honours degree in Bachelors of Economics and Statistics. She has a significant expertise in Research and policy analysis and a deep understanding of econometric modelling and economic theories, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting. Before joining the National Treasury, Cecilia worked as a Researcher at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis, a position which exposed her to a lot of policy research and analysis skills which are very important as she intends to pursue a career in research and policy.
