Said Rashid

Graduate of a Bachelor degree in Economics and Statistics seeking the opportunity for Ph.D. studies in economics in pursue of a carrier in academic research. Currently, I am pursuing a Micromasters online Program in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – USA. My central mission is to learn methods and ideas of modern economics so as to conduct both basics and applied research in economics so as to push forward the frontier of knowledge in the field. my areas of interest are Health Economics and Empirical methods and data analysis. I have attended training on data visualization and analysis using STATA and Impact Evaluation Courses. Currently, I do participate in a study entitled " overcoming budget, availability and attention constraints to healthy diets in Tanzania" with Mr. Constantine Manda ( former CEGA-EASST fellow) and other senior researchers from ESRF.
