Aline Aloukoutou

Aline Modoukpè ALOUKOUTOU is of Beninese nationality and currently works as Coordinator of the Office of Research and Development in Agriculture (BReDA-ONG), Parakou, Benin. She holds an agricultural engineering degree and a master's degree in rural economics and sociology. She is also doing a doctoral thesis in Sociology at the Water Agronomic Sciences Doctoral School of the University of Parakou where she proposed to study agricultural innovations. Aline has over 10 years of professional experience with strong expertise in using participatory and inclusive approaches in the work she performs. She capitalizes on rich experiences in the analysis of added value chains and agricultural sectors, climate change and is an expert in gender analysis. It is also involved in the promotion and development of agricultural entrepreneurship. From 2012 to today, she has been involved in numerous studies and research projects funded by various organizations, both national and international. These include, among others, the Technical Center for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA), GIZ, Swiss Cooperation in Benin, the Council for the Development of Social Science Research In Africa (CODESRIA) and the International Foundation for Science (IFS).
