Mitzie Irene P. Conchada is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics of De La Salle University, Manila. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University, masteral degree (Master of Science in Economics) and undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts major in Economics and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in History) from De La Salle University, Manila. She serves as vice dean of the School of Economics and vice chair of the Economics department in Academic Year 2016-2017. She has also served as economic analyst and consultant to the Asian Development Bank, Philippine Institute for Development Studies, Commission on Higher Education and other think tank institutions. Her research interests include economics of poverty, impact evaluation, experimental economics, education, economic integration, and economic development.
