Marième Fatou Seye

Ms. Marième Fatou SEYE is a junior researcher with a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Econometrics from the Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis in Senegal. She worked on the determinants of the choice of "mobile banking" in Senegal, focusing on the specific case of Orange Money. This study allowed her to better understand the many challenges faced by women, especially those in rural areas, in financing their activities. As an research economist at the integration monitoring unit of the General Directorate of Planning and Economic Policies, Ms. Seye participated in the drafting of newsletters on regional integration and the report on regional integration. Ms. Seye also has a good command of econometric tools and good writing skills.

As a researcher at the Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis (Senegal), my research focuses on the financial inclusion of Senegalese women e-traders in the context of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
