Festus, Gift Emmanuel is an academic economist and researcher at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He holds an M.Sc in economics from the University of Lagos. Having graduated as the best student in the department at both bachelor’s and master’s levels with a first class and distinction respectively, the university retained him. He has led some organisations and worked as a research assistant for senior faculties in the university. He has published and unpublished papers as well as in-progress papers.
He specializes in development economics and has facilitated courses in the area of econometrics, microeconomics and macroeconomics.
He is currently an assistant lecturer and a Phd. student at the University of Lagos and a member of the Departmental public lecture committee for the current year.
