Rose Fiamohe has a very good knowledge and, theoretical and empirical ability to lead and conduct the development research on impact evaluation of project and public policies, agricultural markets, consumer behavior, and agricultural value chains.
She is currently a co-researcher in the IRDC competitive RCT research project titled “Impacts de l’introduction de GUEV COOKER sur l’autonomisation économique des femmes au Bénin et perspectives de mise à l’échelle” (IDRC-OMC/CIDI, UAC). She has conducted and led some development reserch projects including the competitive research project of Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) on “Accessing finance for productive employment opportunities in rural Benin”; the CGIAR Flagship project on "Upgrading rice value chains in Rice agri-food system in Africa"; Africa Rice Center project on "Labeling and packaging strategies to improve the competitiveness of African rice in urban markets in West Africa"; African Development Bank (AfDB) project on Rice self-sufficiency in Africa project in Technologies for African Agriculture Transformation (TAAT); the World Bank project on "Applying innovation system approach in rice value chain analysis and development for competitive markets in Nigeria in Transforming Irrigation Management in Nigeria (TRIMING); The competitiveness study of rice in sub-Saharan Africa ''; A study on Regional trade and ex-ante impact of the common external tariff (CET) on rice productivity in ECOWAS countries '' and a study on the Agricultural Entrepreneurship in Benin: Inventory and Prospects funded by the Economic Analysis Council (EAC) of the Presidency of Republic of Benin ''.
She has participated to several international and regional scientific workshops, conferences and several policy engagement meetings. She is also a member of International Associations (AAAE, EAAE, AAAWE), a reviewer for the Food Policy, Food security, Journal of Agricultural and Applied Economics, scientific committees, etc. and is author and co-author of several scientific articles published in peer-reviewed abstracted and impact factor journals, Working papers, and project reports for regional and international donors.
She was also a panelist/speaker at the webinar on “Female-focused financial inclusion: Policies to increase rural productivity in SSA” organized by the PEP and a chair person for a workshop organized by World Bank on Rice value chains development in Africa.
