Grayson Koyi is a Research Fellow/Lecturer at the Institute of Economic and Social Research (INESOR), University of Zambia, Lusaka. He is the current coordinator of the Economic and Business Research Programme at the Institute of Economic and Social Research. He has over 23 years of professional experience in social science research and has undertaken various assignments as a researcher, policy analyst and M+E expert. He is a double Masters’ degree holder - MA in Economics from the University of Zambia and MA in Labour and Employment from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He has a PhD in Business Studies (Human Resources) from the Graduate School of Business, Copperbelt University, Zambia. His PhD thesis evaluates the effectiveness of public service unions in Zambia using structural equation modelling. He has previously attended short course trainings in Labour Market Policy Analysis at the World Bank Institute, Washington, D.C; Labour and Employment Research at the International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin-Italy; Measuring Human Development and Poverty at the United Nations University, International Leadership Academy, Amman, Jordan; Social Protection Impact Evaluation at the International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin- Italy. He has significant experience in labour market research and social and economic policy analysis.
