Mr. Joshua holds BSc Economics (Hon) degree (While Master of research and Public Policy at University of Dar es Salaam is in progress), he has over 6 years’ experience in Data analysis, research in social sciences, surveys, proposal writing both Technical and Financial Proposals. He acquired this experience while working with INNOVEX Development Consulting limited Some of the notable assignment include Consultancy Services to Conduct Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability Assessment (PEFA) For the Year 2015-2016, Mid-Term Review for the Public Finance Management Reform Program Phase Four Tanzania, Assessment of the implementation of the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Policy (2003) to inform the formulation of the new SME Policy (UNWomen), Analysis on the effectiveness of the Government’s Policy to Reduce unnecessary expenditures (SIKIKA/GFG)-2018, Consultancy services to disaggregate administrative at all levels and conduct research to construct cost model (TASAF), Assessment of T-Watoto as a Tool for Programme Monitoring (UNICEF), Consultancy services for reviewing of green leaf price cost sharing ratio between smallholder farmers and GL processors (Tea Board of Tanzania), Analysis on the effectiveness of the Government’s Policy to Reduce unnecessary expenditures (SIKIKA/GFG), Study of Interest Payment on Mobile Network Operators’ Accounts (Client: Financial Sector Deepening Trust) just to mention a few.
In addition, Mr. Joshua is an author, he has written a statistical guidebook called “Data analysis techniques and analysis procedure in computer software” He has passion in statistics/Data analysis and he has advanced knowledge in SPSS, STATA and EXCEL. Recently, he was the senior Consultant at Innovex Development Consulting Ltd. Likewise, he has worked with Oxford Policy Management Africa (Tanzania) in implementing World Bank Survey project 2014/25, the project intended to evaluate relationship between Urbanization and standard of living for people in Dar es Salaam. In this project Joshua was successfully participated in reviewing and administering questionnaire in the field. Joshua is an expert in both qualitative and quantitative research, he has been assisting Masters and PhD students to successfully accomplish their research projects. Mr. Joshua is experienced in conducting feasibility studies, he was once tasked to conduct feasibility study for JM Inter Trade Co Ltd and the results of the study enabled them to receive certificate of incentives from Tanzania Investment Centre. Joshua was also assigned task to conduct a survey on the performance of Tanzania Postal Bank from the Customers’ perspective in 2013/14, the findings of the survey led to the restructuring of the Bank including new recruitment of staff, re-branding of the Bank, Buildings maintenance and price review. Also, Joshua has experience in monitoring and evaluation, he fully participated in the mid-term evaluation of the Oxfam project and British Council contracted to GaryVero Co. Ltd in 2013 /2014/2015 where he worked as the data analyst. He was among the key consultant in cost analysis in the following assignment: Consultancy services for reviewing of green leaf price cost sharing ratio, Tea Board of Tanzania-2017 and Study of Interest Payment on Mobile Network Operators’ Accounts (Client: Financial Sector Deepening Trust)-2017.Joshua is also a founder and Managing Director at TAGDEP which is also cooperating with Mpira e.V from Germany in supporting and promoting talents of kids and youths in the area of football. His highly scaled experience is essential in any survey based project because he has all the necessary skills and experience to work in the survey particular project. In 2010, Joshua was officially invited by International Labour Organization (ILO) to become Jury Member in the process of reviewing Grant.
