Mr. Kimou holds a PhD in Economics from a joint program between the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) and the University of Abidjan - Cocody. Mr. Kimou is currently Associate Professor of Development Economics at Felix Houphouet-Boigny University and Senior Researcher, Lead, Research and Monitoring-Evaluation at the Economic Policy Analysis Unit of Cires (CAPEC). He has more than 10 years of experience and has carried out several missions, publications, works and participated in several national and international conferences. In addition, he has several significant experiences in setting up a planning and monitoring-evaluation system, but also in the evaluation of development projects. More recently he has completed a research paper using randomized control trial impact assessment techniques in the framework of African Research Consortium Growth in Fragile states project. He has a diverse experience in socio-economic development and has successfully led teams and managed grants funded by international organizations.
