Adrián Saldarriaga-Isaza is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at the National University of Colombia, at the city of Medellín. Dr. Saldarriaga holds a PhD in Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and a Master in Environment and Resource Economics from the University of Concepcion, Chile. He is interested in researching the relation between economic development and natural resources. He has done research on the economic analysis of mining resources at the micro and macro levels, biodiversity conservation, and cooperation in collective dilemmas. His papers have been published in several international journals such as Environment & Development, Ecological Economics, and Resources Policy.
