Mr. Bill McGill Jones an experienced practice manager and a performance-driven team leader with an insight on public-sector reforms, development planning, environment, and Natural Resource Management. He has a proven ability to achieve results from designing, implementing initiatives and building partnerships for sustainable development, natural resource management, environmental safeguarding, and socio-economic outcomes while valuing nature services and human well-being in high-pressure environments. As a Natural Resource Management and an International Development Practitioner, Bill have more than 9 years of practical working experiences in Liberia and Sub-Sahara Africa.
Additionally, Bill have strong background working in both public and private sectors of Liberia and neighboring Countries on development planning, monitoring and evaluation, project management, and policy support to Sierra Leone and The Gambia. I also have a demonstrated experience in budget management with multiple donors and clear understanding of donors’ relations and compliance.
He holds a Master of Science Degree in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom with focus on understandings of global environment and development issues, the biophysical processes, the drivers of change, the outcomes and implications for poverty and environment, and the policy responses. He holds a postgraduate Executive Certificate in Leadership in Development from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

- Experienced in capacity building and applying diverse participatory approaches in project management and monitoring.
- Experienced and skilled at Stakeholders Engagement and consultation on NRM issues and application of Rights Based Approaches (RBA) and Free, Prior and Informed Consent (F-PIC)
- Experienced in development planning, decentralization, project management; policy engagement, livelihood planning and policy support to senior policy makers;
- Regularly collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess and deliver public policy and change management in public sector organizations; and
- Grounded understanding of commercial and government environments including practical implications of differences in culture, objectives and incentives on recommendations and public policy advice.
