Mr. Bill McGill Jones is a mid-career development practitioner with a Master of Science Degree in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom. He holds a postgraduate Executive Certificate called Leaders In Development from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He has more than 8 years of working experiences in both private and public focusing on development planning, monitoring and evaluation, project management, environment & climate change projects, and policy support to national leaders. He is currently working as Special Technical Advisor assigned to the Office of the Director-General of the Civil Service Agency, Liberia. He is supervising and participating in the development of administrative policies and management systems and liaising with relevant Ministries, Agencies & Commissions and other stakeholders connected to the Civil Service to facilitate its mandates.
His most recent works and consulting include assignments with: SIDA, USAID, DFID (African Cabinet Government Network), World Bank, among development Agencies. He is also a member of the PEP Policy Outreach Committee, through which he is called to advise research teams in the design and implementation of effective policy engagement strategies
