Dr. Michel Armel Ndayikeza is a Lecturer at the University of Burundi in the Department of Economics. His PhD thesis was on education and labor, leveraging secondary and primary data collected in Burundi with support from the Center for Effective Global Action of the University of California, Berkeley. Michel is also a consultant at the Ministry of Education of Burundi on a major educational project called Twige Neza, funded by the Global Partnership for Education and the French Development Agency (Agence Francaise de Dévelopement). In addition, Michel has initiated at the University of Burundi a project called eduSpace which seeks to improve learning outcomes through online courses.
