Glaucia Ferreira is an Statistician with large experience in development issues. Working on data analysis for more than 10 years, she has provided her services to wide variety of national and international institutions, such as the Brazilian Economic Research Agency (IPEA), the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and OCDE. She is expert in micro-data analysis, especially in panel data. She is extremely familiar with the micro-data sets from the Brazilian Statistical Institute, including the manufacturing annual survey (PIA-IBGE), innovation survey (PINTEC-IBGE) and the labor census data of all former Brazilian workers (RAIS-MTE), which are the basis of this current proposal. She holds a Bachelor degree of Statistics from the main Brazilian Statistical University (ENCE-IBGE) and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering focus on Statistics Methods from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ). Her main area of research are manufacturing performance, labor markets and gender.
