Filipe Lage de Sousa

Filipe Lage de Sousa has more than 20 years of experience in economic development, most of them working at the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES). Since 2013, he has been working as an independent consultant and he has already provided his services to the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Japan International Cooperation Agency, Global Development Network, and others. He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and is a lecturer of microeconomics at the Fluminense Federal University. His areas of expertise include productivity, innovation, labor market, and economic development.
