Leandro Justino is currently working as an independent consultant for
a national and international institutions
, such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the Brazilian Economic Research Agency (IPEA) and the São Paulo University, after finishing his Master’s Degree. During his half decade of working experience with large datasets, especially from the Brazilian Statistical Institute, he becomes an expert in
microdata
analysis. He has an incredible knowledge of the main firm-level Brazilian datasets, such as the manufacturing annual survey (PIA-IBGE), innovation survey (PINTEC-IBGE) and the labor census data of all former Brazilian workers (RAIS-MTE). He holds a Bachelor degree
of
Statistics from the main Brazilian Statistical University (ENCE-IBGE) and a Master’s degree in Science Computer focus on Numerical Methods and Parallel Computer Statistics from the Rio de Janeiro University (UFRJ). He plans to start his doctorate in near future. His area of research
focus
on firm performance, including innovation,
productivity
and private sector development.
