Kshitiz Dahal

My love of Economics and Econometrics started at Dickinson College, USA, where I majored in Mathematics and Economics and also worked as a teaching assistant and a peer tutor. My passion for Economics and Econometrics proliferated further while pursuing a master degree in Economics at Tilburg University, Netherlands. I completed my M.Sc. in Economics in 2016 with a specialization in “Growth and Sustainability.”  After moving back to Nepal, South Asia Watch on Trade, Economics and Environment (SAWTEE) was a natural fit to pursue my interests in sustainable economic growth. I have been working as a research officer at SAWTEE since November 2016 with involvement in research works related to trade, employment creation, industrial policy, and other economic policies. Thus, my academic background, areas of interest, and job experiences have bestowed me with a serious drive to delve deeper into the subject of Economics and Econometrics to be able to carry out independent research and solve complex economic problems. My avid love of reading and running has always provided me with discipline and motivation to fight adversities in life. In brief, I want to harness my strengths to be a positive influence in this world.
