Ajebush Argaw Shafi is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tshwane University of Technology (South Africa). Ajebush’s research interests are on Finance and Economic Development, Economic Performance Evaluation, Science and Technology Policy analysis, Innovation Systems, public policy. Initially trained as an Economist, Ajebush holds a Masters in Public Policy and Human Development with Specialization of Social Policy and Financing from Maastricht University, Netherlands and a doctorate in Business Administration from Tshwane University of Technology. In her academic and professional career, Ajebush has adopted a cross-disciplinary approach to explore alternative development paths for African countries. She is an active member of several international research networks (e.g. EEA, SAEA, Globelics, Africalics) and has authored and co-authored different articles on Enterprises Performance in Africa.
