MGENI MSAFIRI

Mgeni Msafiri holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics (2012), a Master's Degree in Agricultural Statistics (2018) and is currently an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Dodoma and a PhD (Economics) candidate at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Since 2017, she has been actively involved in various research employing computable general equilibrium models, microsimulation models, and econometric approaches. She has also participated in various trainings ranging from macroeconomic modeling to policy analysis and applied quantitative analysis. Mgeni participated in research projects on fiscal policy, gender, economic diplomacy, and international trade.
