I earned my BA and Msc degree in economics from Addis Ababa University at the department of economics. I perused my Phd from Justus-Liebig University of Giessen in Germany. Currently I am working as an assistant professor at Addis Ababa University. My research interests mainly dwell on CGE modeling,linear and non linear programming(modeling), macroeconomic modeling, impact assessment and issues of poverty, food security and income inequality.
