Muhajir Kachwamba

Muhajir Kachwamba was born in 1973. He is a senior lecturer of Institutional and development economics since 2003 at Mzumbe University in Tanzania. Between 2005- 2007 he pursed a Master degree at the University of Agder in Norway. He pursued PhD studies in International Management specialized in Economics at the University of Agder, Norway from 2008-2013. His areas of research interest include; development economics Information economics, regulatory and institutional economics. Between December, 2014 and March 2016; he served as the head of department of research and publications at Mzumbe University. Currently, he is the coordinator of quality assurance at Mzumbe University (Dar es salaam Campus College). He also has teaching experience in economics courses particularly theory of consumer behaviour, demand and supply analysis, markets, government regulation and income distribution, monetary economics and Keynesian macroeconomics. In terms of research experience, he teaches quantitative research techniques particularly econometrics using STATA software for data analysis.
