Javier Aliaga-Lordemann

He made doctoral studies in Economics at the University of Zaragoza and Köln (Germany), he holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Economics at the same institution. He has an MBA from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specialist in renewable energy by the University of Hamburg, Specalist in Environemntal Economics at Satanford University and Bachellor in economics by the Universidad Católica Boliviana. Since 2010 he is Executive Director of the Socio-economic Research Institute (IISEC) at the Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo. In 2010 he received the Bernard Prince Research Award by the Institute of Spanish, Portuguese and Iberoamerican Studies in The Hague, Netherlands. In 2011, he was incorporated as one of the 24 Full Fellow Members of the Bolivian Academy of Economic Sciences (ABCE), currently he is the Vice President of this institution. In 2014 he received the Energy Globle Award for the best project of renewable energy community in South America. In 2015 the Hanns Seidel Stiftung honored him as the Best Young Bolivan Economist under 40 Years in the field of environmental economics. He is currently working with his team on issues like food security, experimental economics, inclusive growth, multidiemntional poverty, happiness and energy economics. He has published 30 refereed scientific papers and he has written five books and several working papers.
