Dr Rama Lionel Ngenzebuke is an Economist/researcher with research interests in Development Economics, Household Economics, Gender Economics, Agricultural Economics, Poverty and Welfare Analysis, M&E and Impact Evaluation. He holds a four-year bachelor degree in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Bejaia (in Algeria, 2007), an In-depth two-year Master degree in Economics, Option Economic Analysis from the Free University of Brussels (2011), a one-year doctoral training certificate in Quantitative Economics from the Free University of Brussels (2012), and a PhD in Economics from the Free University of Brussels (2017). Dr. Ngenzebuke is a Senior Researcher at CURDES (Centre Universitaire de Recherche en Développement Economique et Social), a research institution affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Burundi. He is also a post-doctoral researcher at Harvard University, School of Public Health. Dr Ngenzebuke has a professional experience as consultant for various internatinal and national organizations including the NBER, World Bank, UNICEF, WFP, TRANSTEC, etc. His research and consultancy careers are both featured by a strong commitment to development in Africa, particularly in Burundi where he has an extensive field work experience.
