Vincent Ngeno is a Senior Program Officer at PEP. Prior to joining PEP, Vincent Ngeno was on faculty in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Resource Management at Moi University. He has been active on many university assignments, having served in Moi University as Head of Department-Department of Agricultural Economics and Resource Management and Dean of the School of Business and Economics; and international professional appointments such as secretary general of the African Farm Management Association.
As a member of teaching staff, he taught several courses in economics and econometrics: theory and applications, and has supervised or co-supervised and examined numerous Masters and Doctoral theses. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management from Moi University, as well as a Doctorate degree in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management from Moi University and Kiel University, Germany sandwich programme.
Vincent Ngeno’s core research interest and expertise are in areas of applied microeconomics, particularly production & welfare economics, impact evaluation and applied econometrics with a diverse econometric toolkit in cross-sectional, time series and panel data analysis.
