Bupe Simuchimba

Bupe Simuchimba is a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Zambia.  She has spent most of her career in the academia and has a kin interest in research that play a prominent role in contributing to the development of the Zambian economy as well as the global economy. She enjoys looking at policies and their effectiveness in achieving the intended target as well as meeting the required needs of the targeted population. She also has an interest in analysing various alternative policy implementation strategies. This has motivated her to explore different strategies using Computable General Equilibrium models. Her research interest range from natural resource issues, energy economics, gender and labour issues.
