Guatemalan economist with a Research Master in Economics and Business from the Dutch University of Groningen. He has a decade's experience in implementation of the System of Environmental and Economic Accounts and has evaluated national subsidies programs in Guatemala. He currently consults in environmental economic topics with the World Bank and the Wealth Accounting and the Valuation of Ecosystem Services initiative (WAVES), and is an associate researcher at the Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and the Environment of University Rafael Landívar in Guatemala. He's had training in microeconomic simulations and general equilibrium modelling from the University of La Plata.
