Juste Somé is currently an Assistant Professor at Université Norbert Zongo in Burkina Faso. He has completed in 2014 his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Montreal (Canada). He also holds a Master degree in Statistics and Economics, and a Bachelor in Mathematics. His research interests are macroeconomics and applied econometrics. His current research focuses primarily on macroeconomic policies in developing countries ; oil price fluctuations and macroeconomic activity ; economic growth théories and institutions. Secondarily, his research focuses on time series and panel data econometrics ; Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models ; and Computable General Equilibrium (CGE).
