Claudiane Yanick Moukam holds a PhD in Economics from the Collaborative PhD Programme (CPP) of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC). She holds a Master’s degree from the Inter-university Postgraduate Programme in Economics (NPTCI) and the University of Yaoundé II. She is currently a Consultant at Rainbow Environment Consult and a visiting lecturer at the Centre Régional d’Enseignement Spécialisé en Agriculture, Forêt-Bois (CRESA-Forêt-Bois), teaching Environmental Economics and Cost-Benefit Analysis. Claudiane’s areas of research include environmental and natural resources economics, choice modelling, impact evaluation, agricultural economics, energy economics, local and rural development among others. She has won several awards including the OFID-IAEE travel grant (2018), the United Nations University- Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (UNU-INRA) Home-Based Scholarship (2015-2016), Global Development Network (GDN) travel grant as winner of the Essay Competition launched by GDN and UNECA (2014), the African Economic Research Consortium grant for Doctoral Studies (2013-2018), the Inter-University Postgraduate Programme in Economics (NPTCI) scholarship to pursue MPhil. studies (2010-2011). Claudiane participated as team member in several research projects and publications among which the Policy Analysis on Growth and Employment (PAGE) of the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP). She is affiliated to the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), the African Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AFAERE), and is also member of the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) Alumni.
