Burulcha Sulaimanova has a doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics from the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan). She is Assistant Professor at the Economics departments of same university. She was the member of the Public Council of State Migration Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. Dr. Sulaimanova specializes in the fields of labor economics and applied economics analysis. She has been engaged in various types of projects as researcher, project leader and consultant. In particular, her current works include gender aspects of migration, migration impact on economic growth; and education-job mismatch issues in Kyrgyzstan labor market. One of her recent projects has been done on the “Education-Job Mismatch Analysis among Youth in Kyrgyzstan”, which was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
