Laura Barasa (firstname.lastname@example.org) holds a PhD in Economics from Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands. Barasa is a lecturer at the University of Nairobi, School of Economics. Barasa’s research interests include innovation, agriculture, poverty, and gender issues in low income countries. Barasa’s research has been pubished in the leading innovation journal, Research Policy. She has also published several book chapters. Barasa is also an African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) researcher, and a member of the African Network for Internationalization of Education (ANIE). She is currently a European Investment Bank-Global Development Network (EIB-GDN) fellow.
