Hewlett-WEE-EIP_ISSEA-Cameroun Building sustainable and synergistic EIP ecosystem to inform gender-responsive policy solutions in Cameroon

Abstract

This project is part of a two-year (2024–2026) PEP initiative, funded by the Hewlett Foundation, that supports collaborative working between African research centers and government institutions to strengthen evidence-informed policymaking (EIP) for women's economic empowerment. In Cameroon the project is implemented by the Institut Sous-régional de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée (ISSEA), in collaboration with government partners, with a focus on informing strategies to increase participation of women and girls in technical, professional and scientific fields.
