Hewlett-WEE-EIP_CEDRES-Burkina Faso Building sustainable and synergistic EIP ecosystem to inform gender-responsive policy solutions in Burkina Faso

Abstract

This project is part of a two-year (2024–2026) PEP initiative, funded by the Hewlett Foundation, that supports collaborative working between African research centers and government institutions to strengthen evidence-informed policymaking (EIP) for women's economic empowerment. In Burkina Faso, the project is implemented by the Centre d’Etudes, de Documentation et de Recherche économiques et sociales (CEDRES), in collaboration with government partners, with a focus on informing strategies for the empowerment of displaced and non-displaced women in a context of insecurity.
