Abstract

This project is part of a two-year (2024–2026) PEP initiative, funded by the Hewlett Foundation, that supports collaborative working between African research centers and government institutions to strengthen evidence-informed policymaking (EIP) for women's economic empowerment. In Tanzania, the project is implemented by REPOA, in collaboration with the National Economic Empowerment Council (NEEC), with a focus on informing strategies to improve the performance and sustainability of women-owned businesses.
